Ingredients

  • 1 small piece of kombu (soaked in warm water for 5 minutes)
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 cup warm water (not boiling)
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice or 1–2 drops stevia

Instructions

  1. Soak the kombu in warm water for 5 minutes.
  2. In a mug or heat-safe glass, add matcha and grated ginger.
  3. Pour in the warm kombu water and stir gently.
  4. Add the umeboshi (or paste) and mix again until fully dissolved.
  5. Finish with lemon or stevia if desired.
  6. Drink slowly, ideally on an empty stomach.
