Ingredients
2 lbs flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp browning sauce
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp fresh thyme
1 scotch bonnet pepper, chopped (optional)
1 onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup beef broth
2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions
1. Marinate beef with soy sauce, browning sauce, thyme, and spices for at least 30 minutes.
2. Sear the beef in a skillet over high heat until browned; remove and set aside.
3. In the same pan, sauté onions and bell peppers until soft.
4. Stir in tomato paste and beef broth; mix well.
5. Return beef to the pan, stir, and simmer covered for 15 minutes until gravy thickens.
6. Serve hot over rice or with fried plantains.

Notes
For extra heat, leave the seeds in the scotch bonnet.
Use cornstarch slurry if you prefer thicker gravy.
Slice beef against the grain for maximum tenderness.
